The
house of Trussardi in Milan, Italy, is famous for many things but most of
all, it is famous for the impeccable manufacturing of leather goods.
The
Trussardi story began in 1910 when Dante Trussardi, master glove-maker,
set up his company creating finely made gloves which were soon sold
successfully all over the world.
Over
the years, Dante’s nephew, Nicola, took over the company and by 1983 had
introduced the first women’s collection – a line that has been
successful ever since.
Destiny
then thrust the young Trussardis, Beatrice and Francesco into the family
business when their father Nicola was killed in a car accident.

Francesco
Trussardi is the business administrator of the Group while his sister
Beatrice handles the Trussardi Foundation and looks after communication
and the image of fashion group.
With
the label clearly defined, the brother and sister team began to add a
young, modern edge to the designs without once compromising the
attention to fine detail.
Each
outfit is carefully crafted and given the special Trussardi touch.
