Misa Harada Millinery is synonymous with cool, funky and contemporary.

Her hats are known the world over and with celebrities such as Janet Jackson favouring Misa Harada, the label has definitely hit the big time.

Misa’s style is described by the designer herself as street chic meets preppie chic…

‘Misa Harada Millinery’ has been featured in national newspapers and international magazines including Vogue, The Face and the cover of iD Magazine.

During 1999, Misa was appointed as the design consultant for the Whiteley Hat Company, U.K, and also created the wedding veil for Jennifer Aniston/Brat Pitt’s wedding in July 2000.

In 2001, she has created hats for Janet Jackson’s music videos from the album “All for you” and also for her oncoming world tour.

This year, her hats were featured on TV drama, “sex in the city”.

Misa Harada Millinery is available from Harrods, London and is stocked world-wide in stores such as Barneys New York, Bon Marché, Paris and Isetan, Japan.

Based in her home town of London, Misa trained under a Royal Appointed milliner whose tuition gave her a good start - and some special clients…

Despite her formal training and Royal connections, Misa believes that hats could suit any woman of any age.

Wearing the hat in the right way is important to Misa – there is a right way and a wrong way…

Each hat is special to Misa and each one has a twist that is unique to her style.

The tweed material here gives it a classic element but the colours of the check and denim add a modern funky edge.

Misa is inspired by most things – from music particularly jazz and hip hop to more traditional ideas.
Misa Harada Millinery is available worldwide – from Barney’s new York to Gas in paris and Harrods, London, there is no excuse not to accessorise your favourite outfit with one of these fabulous hats.
