New
York, a 24 hour city where there’s always something happening whether
you’re into shopping, sightseeing, business, the list is endless.
During
a stay in New York you’ll be pleased to know that it is also possible to
relax, especially if you book yourself in to the sophisticated Library, a
truly
unique hotel situated in the centre of Manhattan on Madison Avenue.
The
Library was designed by architect Steven Jacobs and Interior designer
Andy Good, who also happen to be husband and wife.
|
The
library is the only hotel in the World that has over 6000 books for its
guest’s enjoyment. The books are arranged exactly the same as those
found
in public libraries – called the Dewy Decimal system.
Each
floor of the hotel houses a different subject from Literature to
Technology to Art and
each of the exquisitely appointed guestrooms have
been individually adorned
with a collection of art and books relevant to one
distinctive topic within the category of the floor it belongs to. Many of
the
rooms also have some fantastic views down Madison Avenue.
|
The
hotel also boasts some wonderful communal areas, which are perfect to
hang out and relax in, away from the busy Manhattan streets.

Library hotel New York, start spreading the news!
