koba

Brighton and Hove has been hailed as Europe’s 21st century city with ever increasing interest from top designers, architects and musicians wanting to make their mark in this great looking, cosmopolitan south coast city.

One way to relax in Brighton is with friends and a cocktail at the Koba – a small but perfectly formed bar in the center of town.

Fun-loving, laid back and cool the atmosphere in Koba is conducive to a relaxed night out for Brighton’s upwardly mobile crowd.

Koba opened in 2001 and has managed to attract its mixed clientele through word of mouth - and by providing fabulous cocktails.

Peter Browne is the manager and has had an input in the bar’s look from the initial concept – the design of the place being a high priority for the owners.

Anyone who comes into Koba for a drink will find the space deceptively roomy with clever use of trendy wall seats and cool cubed stools as well as neat little tables tucked away in all corners.

The bar is a mixture of soft and hard surfaces.  Velvet lined walls and slate tiles give this little gem of a place its own special features.

One of Koba’s best features is that it will never get crowded at the bar as you get served at your table…..making your night out as relaxed as possible.

Koba attracts the pre-clubbing crowd as well as couples of all ages who want a cosy drink before or after dinner.

From celebrities to musicians, Koba also attracts those in the spotlight and anyone who wants some time out from the hustle of their day job.

With over 100 to choose from, cocktails are the best bet at this glamorous watering hole – the preparation is almost as fun to watch as actually drinking it!
