Milan- Italy’s fashion capital famous for it’s unique blend of history, culture and pace setting modernity.

Joanne Jong was born in Scotland and graduated with a first class honours degree from London’s Royal College of Art.

After studying she was quickly snapped up by Couture houses in Paris and London where she learnt the tricks of the trade. Joanne then moved to Italy and after working with some of the industries best-known fashion houses, she now has her own ready-to-wear label.

The Yulan collection is notable for it’s high standards and meticulous detail in

craftsmanship.

Joanne contrasts soft feminine fabrics, perforated leather and white nappa embellished with soft green hand printed eucalyptus leaves.

Joanne got her inspiration for this collection from 3 Japanese contemporary artists, Mariko Mori, Tatsuo Miyajima and Kusamo Yayoi.

Italian elegance can clearly be seen as an influence in this cream cut leather mini dress.

Rather than a catwalk show, for her latest collection Joanne decided to do something completely different.
