Nicknamed London-by-the-sea, Brighton has always had a fashionable reputation.  From the famous pavilion, an exotic palace used as a week-end pad by the playboy Prince Regent in the 19th century, to the typical sweeping squares and bustling shopping lanes, Brighton will always remain the place to be.

Hotel Pelirocco is situated in one of the most beautiful and elegant parts of Brighton.

The hotel’s bar attracts the movers and the shakers with it’s relaxed atmosphere and cool surroundings.

Every room in the Pelirocco has a different theme - each one created or inspired by artists, musicians and interior designers, making a stay in the hotel a unique experience.

Lisa Rocque is one of the designers who was commissioned to create the Cissy Mo Magic Garden room – everywhere you look, there are marigolds, daisies and plenty of grass. From the deer head light, to the novelty phone even the hairy soap – there’s definitely something for everyone.

Lisa jumped at the chance of designing a room at this innovative hotel.

The Modrophenia room pays homage to the influx of the clean cut gangs that were called Mods who used to descend upon Brighton at the week-ends in the 60s & 70s. The scooter adorned with as many mirrors as possible was their trademark.

Bettie Page was a raunchy model in the 1950s – described by her fans as nice and naughty, shy and daring, simple and exotic. This room with its Bettie Page pin ups and animal prints pay tribute to her glamorous cult status today.

Described as a luxury suite for young lovers the Absolut Love room is the most popular for honeymooners. Created  by hip interior designer Shaun Clarkson, the emphasis here is definitely on hitting the senses with colour and texture.

If the Cissy Mo room inspires you to buy any of the things you see, there are three stores in Brighton.

It’s no surprise then that the Cissy Mo room is popular with families…but with so much to play with, how do you get off to sleep?
