The
Establishment is one of Sydney’s coolest hotels where the in crowd likes
to be seen.
It’s
public areas are full of hustle and bustle - the ultimate place for people
watching.
In the
restaurant the ambiance is a unique combination of modern and traditional.
Old columns support the glass ceilings that flood the room with natural
light at one end. The other
is lit by beautiful golden lights. Outside, the sound of a gushing
contemporary wishing well cools the warm Australian air.

The Establishment was created from the
shell of one of Sydney’s most famous buildings that had burnt down.
Designer Justin, along with his sister, were called on to transform the
ruin into something inspired.

The
Establishment is spacious and varied enough to cater for every taste. It
is certainly a big hit with people from Sydney but it’s reputation has
also spread much further afield.
What’s
vital though is that everyone is made to feel welcome here.
Barry
White, Sting, JK are among a long list of celebrities who chose to take
the Establishment treatment when they visit Sydney. Celebs tend to take
the most desirable room in the Establishment - the Penthouse suite.

Here,
as with all the bedrooms, the mood is tranquil and restful - a complete
contrast with the bars and restaurants downstairs. The huge pillows and
cushions make it tempting
to loll around on the bed watching movies on the plasma screen.

The huge marble Jacuzzi bath and fluffy towels are a luxurious treat. As
is the power shower.
Entertaining
guests is no problem upstairs with plenty of easy chairs. And of course,
you can always order room service.
But
it’s not just the Penthouse that’s given such a special touch - all
the rooms look good and have been given the specialist treatment by the
designers. |
