Barcelona is a European city with much to offer any fashion and style fan whether it be a designer classic you’re after or an advent guard little number it’s sure to be found in this vibrant Mediterranean city.

And while you’re in town you won’t want to miss out on a trip to one of Barcelona’s best known fashion houses Custo Barcelona. Custo Barcelona does not follow the trends. It sets them.

The Brand was created in the early 1980’s by brothers David and Custo Dalmau and has gone from strength to strength gaining many fans from around the world, including many from celebs. Julia Roberts, Melanie Griffith,  Bridget Fonda, Drew Barrymore, Kate Capshaw, Penelope Cruz, Esther CaÒadas, Michael Stipe, members of Backstreet Boys, Howie D and AJ- they all have contributed in a special way to the spreading of 'Customania', perhaps without even being aware of it. They have all worn the firm's tops on the big screen, on television, and in their private lives.

Custo Barcelona made their name by creating unique bright vibrant tops, innovatively mixing graphics, embroidery, different materials and illustrations.

Custo is the creative impulse of the team and from whom the brand gets its name. They started again in the U.S. because it seemed to have a public more open to a product moving against the grain, a product that offered an explosion of color at a time when minimalism had dyed the catwalks gray.

The t-shirts are still very much a signature of the Custo Barcelona line which has now expanded to include pants, dresses and skirts and a line of accessories.

Perfect for walking around the sun drenched streets and beach’s of Barcelona this bright ensemble is sure to turn heads and demonstrates Custo Barcelona’s love of colour & graphic design prints.

An original handbag and cool print sneakers complete the look.

These denim flared pants with the hundreds of eyelets hark back to the 70’s, Californian hippy chic is a real inspiration for the label.

Custo's latest collections have been particularly influenced by a heightened sophistication in pattern design as well as new articles of clothing, including skirts, pants, shirts and jackets. They all follow the esthetic and design-oriented line, while continuing to evolve.

Custo Barcelona has just opened its first flagship store in the Ribera quarter of Barcelona as well as its second in Taiwan. Among their immediate goals is the opening of more sale points in Ibiza and other cities world-wide.
