Colleen Quen is a couture designer based in San Francisco who is making a name for herself thanks to her beautiful, elegant dresses. Every woman who sees her pieces wants one.

Trained in French couture, Colleen designs with grace and precision. Her creations drape, fold, and flow with the clean, refined movements of a dancer, revealing her sensitivity to how a dress moves with and embraces the body.

She shares a studio and salon in San Francisco with her husband, sculpture and furniture designer Rick Lee.  

The couple have recently collaborated on a collection based on the elements, Colleen creating beautiful dramatic dresses and Rick, furniture.

Colleen has hand embroidered each one of the flowers on to the white silk of this earth dress. An example of the incredible skill, artistry and labour that goes in to every one of her designs.     

Colleens elements collection also include a fire dress featuring an incredible collar and wood dress.

Collars are Colleens fetish and can be seen to great affect in this elegant turquoise coat.

Architecture is a huge influence of Colleen’s. Her designs are structures as well as things of beauty to wear.
