Don't assume that shopping in Chicago begins and ends on Michigan Avenue. It is where everyone begins, and for a good reason, for the Magnificent Mile is brilliant for shopping! Many of the big names in fashion – whether high-end designer or highstreet shops – are situated on or are very close to Michigan Avenue, as are all other chains plus three malls in the space of only six blocks.
