Behnaz Sarapfour is the toast of the fashionistas in New York city right now.

Her designs for women are seen as sexy, accessible and stylish and have made a huge impact on an international scale.

Her catwalk shows reveal a modern take on classic lines and shapes… an asymmetrical take on men’s suits, sexy, avant-guarde black dresses and psychedelic mix of colours and blends.

Before Behnaz found success in her own right, she worked with the best and most influential designers in the business.  

She started working with Anne Klein before she'd even graduated from design college.

During her time at Anne Klein, she worked with such designers as Narciso Rodriguez, Louis Dell'Olio and Richard Tyler. She then moved on to work with Isaac Misrahi whom she describes as her mentor.

Behnaz’s style is a mixture of old and new – from hard edges with soft, feminine touches to bursts of colour that makes you sit up and take notice.

New York City is not only her home but Behnaz sees it as inspiration too.  

Having grown up there she loves the diversity and energy that help to bring out the best in her creative spirit.

Although Behnaz has a celebrity following with heavyweight stars such as Cate Blanchett wearing her designs, she has a firm idea of who her clientele is.

The Behnaz Sarafpour label has not hit all the stores in every country…….yet!

However, her designs are stocked in well established outlets such as Barney’s New York and are also available to buy on the fashion web site that we all know and love, Net A Porter.
