One of New Zealand’s most well known designers, Karen Walker, designs cutting edge, high end fashion for an international market.

Karen Walker’s passion and drive is originality.  Her first catwalk show in 1998 at Hong Kong fashion week put her firmly on the international scene and attracted buyers from stores worldwide as well as celebrity fans.

Madonna made a pair of Karen Walker pants a fashion must-have when she performed at the MTV awards in what has now been dubbed as the  ‘killer pants’.

  Karen’s success is due to her immense talent but also an uncompromising attitude to her designs.

Karen’s collections have always had masculine undertones with emphasis on tailoring and cut.  Another key feature of her designs is that there is a sense of opposites.

Karen’s signature design is women’s pants. 

Karen Walker is based in her hometown of Auckland.  She works from her studio in the centre of town with her team of cutters and designers.
