the fashion capital of Europe.

stately 19th century waterfront and masks the thriving fashion
industry that has been developing in Belgium’s second city since the
early 80s.

Vandevorst is one label in Antwerp that has known international success
and with stars like Gwyneth Paltrow giving it the celebrity stamp of
approval, they’ll soon become a household name.

Fllip Arickx and An Vandevorst are A.F. Vandervorst.
They met at Art School in Antwerp and very quickly realized that
they were destined to be a team – in more ways than one…
The
design duo’s concept of fashion has a more serious approach but a
wonderful, deconstructed end result.
The
theme for their last collection was based on the honey bee and insects
in general – with this gillet’s hard edges representing the
insects’ shield.

one of the most famous of the Antwerp 6 fashion designers.
The
term Antwerp 6 was used for 6 of the hottest designers in Antwerp who
took the fashion world by storm in the 1980s and early 90s.
Following
in the footsteps of the first generation of fashion designers is

their heritage.
